English In Action is located in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. We help immigrant adults living in our valley to gain the English language and leadership skills they need to participate fully - as parents, as workers, as members of the community.

Over the years, we have worked with learners from over 20 countries. They are all hard-working adults looking to improve their ability to function effectively in our community.

All of our classes are taught one-on-one by volunteer tutors. Tutors need no previous teaching or foreign language experience, just the desire to help. We provide tutors with training, as well as a high level of ongoing support.

With a main office located in El Jebel, and a satellite office located in Aspen, we are well-positioned to serve Roaring Fork valley residents who live and/or work in Pitkin and Eagle Counties.
